37 Week Bump

Sneak Peak at Baby T!
30 weeks! Only 10 more to go until due date!
You can see in some of the pictures that he lays with one of his feet up by his feet all the time, with the other foot wrapped around him, and one of his arms wrapped around his leg. We also saw him open his eyes a few times, swallow (babies stick out their tongue when they swallow!), smile, and make a few stink faces.

25 weeks 2 days bump pic
I'm just chugging along here at 25 weeks 2 days. I still haven't had a day where I can honestly say I've felt "good". I'm still on anti-nausea meds for my morning sickness (Which I tried going off of just a couple days ago...boy, did I pay the price!) My back has been killing me and I'm unable to walk or exercise without having severe cramping (which isn't good news for my weight gain, ha!).
We are doing an elective 3D/4D ultrasound in August at 30 weeks, so we are anxiously awaiting being able to see our little guy again surrounded by our parents. I can feel him jumping around on a regular basis, and Jesse has been able to feel him a couple times too!
Our registries are finally done at Babys R Us and Pottery Barn Kids, and we FINALLY are able to get a little bit of a start on the nursery since we ordered the crib a couple days ago.
We are so excited to see our friends and family at the baby shower in a few weeks, and even more, we can't believe the third trimester is less than 2 weeks away! Time is flying by and October will be here before we know it!

Team BLUE!
It's a boy! He's happy, healthy, and bouncing all over the place! Although I can't feel any movement, he wouldn't sit still at all for the ultrasound tech. He also kept giving us the thumbs up and putting his hands over his face.

"NT Scan" Appointment
Today, Jesse and I drove to Walnut Creek for an NT scan, which is pretty much an ultrasound where the doctor measures the fluid on the back of the baby's neck, which helps tell the probability of our baby having genetic disorders, such as downs syndrome. The full test process consists of the ultrasound that we had today, and then two blood tests that are taken about a month apart. The doctor takes the results from the ultrasound, blood tests, and our personal risk and puts together a probability of our baby being born with certain abnormalities.
We go back to this specialist at 20 weeks on May 31st for a full anatomy scan where they take a complete look at the baby and will give us the gender.
The doctor said everything looked great and right on track, yay! The baby was lounging the whole time, so relaxed! One of it's hands was by it's mouth the whole time, which makes me think he or she might be a thumb sucker. The tech even tried to get it to move around, but the baby just wouldn't have it, it was nap time!
Today's appointment was really cool because we got to hear the heart beat for the first time, and we also got to see the baby in 4D :-) Everything looked perfect, and baby is healthy!
